Signing, dancing, costumes, and staging were all fantastic. It was my first tim at the Regent's Park Open Air Theater, and we had the requisite English drizzle to set an appropriate Scotish mood. The weakness of the show is the fault of the source material. Brigadoon is a "lesser" musical, with no real reason to exist other than as a love letter to the romance of a mythical days of yore in bonnie ol' Scotland. The characters and story are one dimensional with no real growth or conflict. Instead. you get lovely dance numbers and a wedding. But as a vibe, it was a great.
