Watched this on the plane, which is appropriate. Disney is trying to capture the old marvel magic from decaded past, but I think the times have moved on. What would have been a blockbuster in 2010 is a direct to streaming also ran these days. The film is okay enough and the characters are much more human than your typical marvel. All in all, middle of the barrel. The most intersting part is the evil power is the ability to trap people in their own shadow world, a world where they have to face the greatest personal drama and accepting that trauma is your only way to escape. So yes, the super power seems to have been therapy.
