After doing my Data Tie, I was on a USB drive kick. I wanted to make something for the ladies, so I settled on a felt pendant. I cut two flowers from the yellow felt and a larger one from orange. I then stitched them together.
For the back, I made two sets of leaves and you stitching to give them veins. I attached a little pocket with a button hole. The chain for the USB drive goes through the button hole, making it into a necklace and hiding the USB drive in the flower's back. The button hole allows for the chain to slip giving the user plenty of slack to plug the drive into a computer.
I then hand stitched a little brass bee button to the front of the flower.
