These two characters break down the forth wall for a satisfying MCU movie that lampoons as much as celebrates all the things you love about superhero escapism. While silly, it does hit emotional notes and reminds you why we fell in love with Marvel and comics in the first place. Stay for the clip reel in the credits. It is candy for the long time fans to remember that there are normal people behind these characters. they had as much fun making them as we did watching them. Think back to the first X-Men, and rememer that no one had a clue what they were doing or what this would become. |
