| Description | You could not ask for more fan service that this movie. I was happily going to skip it, thinking what was left of this sweepingly pleasent soap opera left to tell? I was persuaded by the 94% on rotton tomato, which shocked me. This last installment did not fail. It was comfortable as old slippers and as as escapist as ever. Mild drama is enough to reunite you with missing friends and close up plot lines and deliver each character to a happy ending. Both nostolgic and future facing, this was an escape into a world of tradition, hope for the future, and a uncynical faith in the goodness of people moving us all forward together. Nothing too challanging, but all together reassuring. |
