| Notes | I once heard this described as a play about stupid people written for smart people. (So the opposite of Big Bang Theory). The whole production was ebulliant and always threatening to either blow away or deflate. It had the tension and thrill of watching a bubble floating so long that you keep waiting for it to pop. When it finally does, you are treated to a curtain call that leaves a sweet after taste. The play is a familiar play of manners, mistaken identities, and very forward women. |
