| Notes | Just see it. You know you want to! It is probably my favorite. The effects have gotten to amazing, that the word seems real while the characters maintain animated charm. I didn't think that there were any laugh out loud moments, but I remember smiling the whole time. Even the embracing and hard parts, feel gentle and kind. This movie stands on its own as a wonderful essay into what it means to be a human and a child. It is universal. It does benefit from being part of a complex world and mythos where we know the rules, the characters, and the history. But the movie tells a very different story than the previous 4, it tells us a story about ourselves. |
